When Loki tricked one of Oðin's sons (Höðr) into killing his brother (Baldr), Oðin could not seek revenge directly since both were his sons. So he quickly had another son (named Váli) with a jötunn woman named Rindr. Váli was born for the sole purpose of avenging Baldr's murder which he did after growing to adulthood in a single day. Váli then helped the Æsir track down Loki and visit a terrible revenge upon him. Váli is one of the few gods who will survive Ragnarök and live in the new world alongside Baldr and Höðr.

Each Mini Myth stands 2-3" tall and is presented in a cold cast brass finish, hand-weathered and antiqued to appear like something found at an archeological site.
