Greedy, vengeful jötunn
 
Suttungr is a jötunn whose parents were murdered by a pair of psychotic dwarves named Fjalar and Galar. Seeking vengence, he caught the killers and was about to extract his revenge when they offered him the Mead of Poetry in compensation. Such a treasure was too good to pass up, so he accepted the deal and spared the dwarves. So greedy was Suttungr, he forced his daughter, Gunnlöd, to guard his precious mead in a deep, impenetrable mountain cavern to keep it solely to himself.
