Wisest of beings
 
At the end of the Æsir-Vanir war, the two groups of gods came together in peace and spat into a large cauldron. From this they fashion Kvasir, the wisest of beings. In fact, there was no question Kvasir could not answer. The Prose Edda tells of the time when Loki was hiding in the form of a salmon and only Kvasir was able to figure it out. Ultimately, Kvasir was killed by two dwarves (Fjalar and Galar) who mixed his blood with honey to make the mead of poetry.
