The rejuvenating one
 
Idun is the keeper of the golden apples of immortality. It is of this fruit that the gods partake when they feel age upon them. In one frightful tale, Idun is abducted (along with her apples and with Loki’s help) by the giant, Thjazi. Age sets in quickly upon the gods and they force Loki to rescue Idun and her apples from the giant which he does with the aid of Freyja’s cloak of falcon feathers.
