Goddess of agriculture
A goddess of agriculture and abundance, Gefjun won the attentions of Gylfi, a king of Sweden, who offered her as much land as she could plow with four oxen in a single day. She had four jötunn sons whom she turned into massive oxen. They plowed all day, taking out a massive chunk of Sweden and dragging it into the sea creating the island of Zealand where Copenhagen now sits. The crater left behind in Sweden filled up with water becoming Lake Mälaren.
