Registration and Enrollment: Registration requires an up front commitment of eight weeks of lessons. Continuation is committed thereafter on a monthly basis. Actual classtime for hour-long sessions is 50 minutes, allowing ten minutes for arrival, departure and associated matters. Choice of class times is on a first-come basis, however, every effort will be made to accommodate the student's schedule. Creativity Coach reserves the right to reject re-enrollment following the initial four weeks.
Payment: Payment for one month is due in full prior to the first lesson. Payment for continuing lessons (by the calendar month) is due in full at the lesson preceeding that month. Cash and checks are preferred. Credit card payments can be accepted through PayPal.
Ages: The ages indicated are intended to be average readiness guidelines; age exceptions can be made with permission based on the student's indivdidual abilities and maturity. To request an exception, please call (517) 545-0181 or send an email to Creativity Coach.
Guardianship: Although parents/guardians will not participate in lessons, there must be a parent or guardian on the premises for private lessons of students under the age of 18.
Open Door Policy: Aric is always available to discuss things that happen in a lesson with parents/students. Questions or concerns can be addressed by phone, email or in person.
Cancellation/Missed Weeks: Conflicts with scheduled lesson time for a given week may be rescheduled during the enrollment period based on availability. Student cancellations due to foreseen conflicts require a minimum of 72 hours notice; cancellations due to illness require a minimum of 2 hours notice; notification of cancellations due to emergencies are requested as soon as possible or feasible. If the instructor is required to cancel, as much advanced notice as possible will be given and the lesson will be rescheduled.
Foul Weather: If Hartland Consolidated Schools are closed for the day or have cancelled evening activities, then Creativity Coaching lessons are cancelled as well. If you are unsure whether or not lessons will take place, please call. Do not automatically assume that because the weather looks bad, lessons are cancelled.
Discontinuing Lessons: Except in cases of unexpected hardship, students who will not be continuing lessons following the pre-paid enrollment period are expected to give two weeks termination notice.
Dismissal:
Creativity Coach reserves the right to dismiss any student at any time under
a variety of circumstances including:
• failure to pay tuition in a timely manner
• persistent or excessive absences
• uninterested or uncooperative attitude
